Identification/Visualization of Vortices in Turbulence
Here we see some pictures of vortices which are visualized by some
typical or new methods.
A difficulty of vortex visualization may be that we donot have a good
physical quantity which represents a vortex in the sense of swirling
motion.
For example, vorticity (rotation of velocity vector) does not
distinguish swirling motions from shear motions.
